I’ll stir things up and ask the question on everyone’s minds in November, anyone first hand ventured into eagles yet?

Hey FS you are still vertical and above ground good to see :)
Hahahaha..................where else would you think an old codger like me might be??

I've been keeping busy waiting for snow. The "honey-doo list" doesn't stop. I hope you have realized it is an essential service and even Trudope can't stop/control that.

Good to see you still drop in this forum once in awhile!!

Hi guys , who ever goes up to owls can you adjust the camera so we can see the snow depth on the stick. It moved and you cant see the bottom now.

Are they logging all 4 areas all winter?
Logging all 4 right now

Should be done a few shortly

Groomed queest today and owls to blue lake

Eagles they were trying to make it to or just passed the gas drop

Blue lake, well its closed week days to any not logging traffic, logging at 10 km and into sugar loaf

Rode from Owlshead to Blue Lake yesterday it is not groomed to Blue Lake Cabin they had to turn at the trail through the woods that leads from the clear cut to the next clear cut, not enough snow and water running there don't blame them for turning around there. However that trail is Whooped bad, and the trail into cabin has whoops 3 feet high, bring a Kidney belt if you go. Definitely need a couple of dumps of snow badly.

There is an absolutely brutal ice layer up top. Never seen anything like it, cm thick clear ice on a thin snow pack. On the steep hills you slide sideways, I think this could be extremely problematic as I don’t know how anything will be able to bind to it. Save the gas pray for a big dump and that it miraculously bonds to this awful layer.
