I was just packing my duffle bag for the first ride on Saturday, checked my canister and whoops .. 0 psi !

Odd thing is, I had blown it up in January as a test and kept an eye on it all season, even when we rode June 30, still had full pressure.

My buddy's lost pressure towards the end of the season as well.

well, time to go get it refilled, hopefully snowpulse will replace it with a new canister under some sort of recall or warranty!

Anyway, just a reminder .. CHECK YOUR CANISTER BEFORE EVERY RIDE !!!!!

Was out last weekend and my canister was empty and 2 of the other guys had low psi. so good idea to check before you go. I'd hate to need it one day and not have enough psi to inflate the bag. I owe it to my family to have all my safety gear in working order. Never again will I go without checking.

Any safety gear should be checked on a regular basis. Like you say, you owe it to your family as well as your self.

I had one that leaked out over a period of a week. Basically the screw in portion was leaking. I had proof of purchase and it was replaced no questions asked.

These are 3000psi cylinders, they can and most likely will leak over time. Leaking out over a 5-6 month period isn't likely a warranty issue, but hopefully they will do something for you.

As mentioned check the canister before each ride. If it is a snowpulse, ensure the cable is free to move as well, don't want it binding up. If it is an ABS, visit their site as they have a recall out on some of their cylinders.

I have never heard of it happening, but I can imagine it might, do not attempt to dry your bags near anything with forced hot air, like a floor register unless you remove the cylinder. These canisters do have a burst disk in them. If the pressure goes up too high as a result of the air expanding with the heat, it will cause the disk to rupture.

Had my Snow Puls lose pressure over the summer. Took it in and got it fixed up. No charge. No questions asked. Thanks MM.

As it turns out, Snowpulse did have a batch of faulty canisters, including mine and my buddies!!!!!

I have an ABS air bag, you weigh the canister to see if it's full, not so sure I trust this method. Last time I tested it, it cost me $100 bucks for a replacement. Has any one replaced one lately? wondering what it's worth. On another note, at the end of the season last year buddy pulled the cord on his Snowpulse, nothing happened!!! Bottle was up to full pressure but it turns out that he did not have it hooked up properly, check your safety gear folks!!!

After an accidental deployment of my ABS last year, I had the handle and air canister replaced at the distributor in Kelowna...can't remember the company name right now, but they were great. It was something like $15 and they also swapped the handle mount from the left side to the right side so I can pull the handle with my left hand while keeping my right hand on the go fast lever. The first time I replaced the deployed gear it was $100 to replace it...it's much cheaper now.

Checked my Snowpulse today at the ZacsTracs AST1 classroom session in Saskatoon today and seen 0psi. Thanks to this post for noting the link to the SP site showing the faulty gauges. Off to my dealer tomorrow for the exchange.
