It wasn't "you people" that did it. It was "You people...you come here..." I don't think everyone's response was proportional, but he did screw up. Had he left out three words "you come here" I don't think anyone would have taken offense. ...still pretty sad though.

No, cherry even said it was the you people comment that got him fired. He said you people cause we have all immigrated here.

He mentioned on the tucker carlson show if he had to do it again he would of said everyone.

My eyes are getting sore from eye rolling. I can’t believe the number of people rushing to the forefront to be offended. How many have actually watched hockey night in Canada and how many watch coaches corner? It’s all nauseating and alarming , it was all good for Don Cherry to go on his rants for 40 years until someone at Rogers picked up the correctness ball and ran with it. DOn Cherry is a huge supporter of minor hockey, police, firemen( firepeople) ( insert eye roll/ facepalm here) and our troops along with patriotism. Now to the media and Rogers he’s just a useless old fool tossed to the side. A sad day.

Look at wot happen to Jeremy Clarkson. He only got a bigger platform as a result. As has been zaid, these snowflakes dont watch coaches corner. But they sure look for triggers.
