My 11 year old Shepherd. I have only had him for 2 1/2 years. Rescued him and three others. They were all retired K-9 and or military dogs.
Mine was born and bred in Czechoslovakia. All his commands are in German.

This is a great thread. Dogs are the best this is My little pug terrier mix. She’s 1 month shy of 17. I actually took this photo at the vets before I had to put her down. She was a A boss bitch to her last day. This dog rode in a small bag on my chest. Tons of kilometres travelled with her daddy on snowmobile‘s, boats. side-by-side‘s, Harley‘s, anything with a motor if I walked by it she wanted to go.

Here are my two compadres. Both are Rescues, the Shepherd mix we got at 13 weeks old (he's 7 now) and the Pittie/boxer mix we got when she was 3 (shes 8 now). Before we got her, the Pittie had a rough go (shes got a .22 bullet in her leg and was dumped in a ditch at -40) but now living with us she's the queen of the roost and is the model dog for my wife's dog training business. Between working/training with my wife and coming to hang out at my shop with me and all the other adventures we take them on, these pooches have it made.

My wife rescued this guy before I met her. She/We have had him now for 12 years. Not sure of his age as he was a couple years old when she got him. Does everything with us. He's adjusting to the latest addition but they are getting along great.

Rescues seem to make the greatest pets/companions. They are always very loyal.

This is Duke. Not actually mine but lives on our property and spends more time at our house then his. 5year old Anatolie shepherd . He's a big galoot but a great dog.

More like he knows where he get spoiled and we pay attention to him more then his family. We love having him around , keeps the strangers off the property quite well and thinks he's helping working on the race car or yard.
