nah, if I get another 2 smoker it'll be a KX 500. would love to find a clapped out early 90's model with the inverted forks and go to town modding it out from the frame up. that or go with a RTR service Honda KXF chassis with a 2 stroke 500 stuffed in it. couple buddies here have the honda version, they are bad ass. ten grand tho

I'd let it go for $4g. Sounds like a lot for a 12 year old bike, but the motard kit is basically new, I think it was around $2800 alone. I've never seen a street legal cr500 before, so I had to scoop it up. I have to sell it, cause I know it'll kick the sh!t out of me.

they stopped building them in 2002. some pretty cool build threads on ktm talk. that one i posted was a transplant into the 2011 sx250. here's a 2007 transplant
