No such thing as a delete without a tuner....

Yes there is, I know lots of guys running them. They are more expensive kits than the tuner kits due to the reprogramed sensors that are replace the factory ones.

I like my lifted truck,f350 ,6 inch lift, rides great, alittle leany with the camper on, getting gram in and out is alittle challenging but we manage,I don't rat bag it or drive like a douche with white Oakley's,I like to sit up high and be able to see everything better, plus you can put stuff in the back and it's not visible to most,I do get afew looks when they see a old guy like me get out.lol

Used to be able to unplug sensors and put resistor in its place to fool the truck into never doing a burn then u could run a delete pipe seen people do it and no tuner needed
Any delete without a tuner is a bandaid fix and a crappy way to do it. You are worried about warranty, but willing to risk a $15,000 engine on a resistor?? Lastly, even if guys are tricking sensors, you are not doing it on a urea required truck.

Whats the risk?? Limp mode if a sensor fails?? No record of a ecm reflash just a code for a failed sensor, and the truck is easily put back to stock.

Humm not hard to delete a truck with urea either. My coworkers truck runs just fine without a tuner.

My 2010 chev 2500 was deleted and I didn't have a tuner. It's not more expensive either. It worked awesome.

I think a lot of people here are confused by the tuner or no tuner situation. Just because your truck doesn't have a hand held tuner or a gauge style like a mini max that doesn't mean it isn't "tuned" 99% of trucks that are tuned today are done so utilizing EFI live. Yes, with dodges you do need a bully dog or equivalent to break the factory ECM to allow for a true delete but unless you want to use it for the gauge, you wouldn't have a clue it was tuned. As far as cost goes, all depends on what you want, I personally don't want a stupid plastic tank hanging down below my frame and I also hate the idea of an EGR so I pay a couple grand and get my trucks truly deleted. If your looking for economical options call your local diesel shops and pick their brains, they are the experts. I've heard S&M in red deer is really good with budget builds or step by step builds so you don't have one big bill. Good luck

Just deleted my 2010 Cummins, I used Coopers in Nisku for the tuning and just went with the 45hp economical tune which was $600 and tranny tune which added another $200. I found a brand new sinister diesel egr delete kit on kijiji for $150 and purchased a Flo Pro 4" turbo back exhaust for $400. These I installed myself. It runs clean and strong, made a big difference.

Because you have to change out the cat and the DPF anyway. Not much more to do a complete swap and get a little better look and sound. The only reason I wouldnt do it, is if you want it to look stock for people that dont need to know.

Ok tell me how, and what ya did to delete

it was straight piped and the egr was deleted. The only tuning was to shut the sensor off. It wasn't an efi live or any thing like that.

So it was tuned. Just because you aren't adding horsepower, doesn't mean you can say it wasn't tuned.

I figured I would take a chance and save some money. I bought this for my 2012 Cummins. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/EGR...32815895689.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.UrDupI

I installed it last week and I was impressed with the quality. I've had the EGR disabled and unplugged for a few years. I figured it was time to take that crap out of the engine bay. Flo Pro 4" exhaust with muffler installed. Fairly quiet and no drone. H&S XRT Pro programmer with Trans tune. Always been set on Tow mode. Truck runs awesome.

Yes I guess it was. I guess I always think of a tune as adding power.
