Dewalt Tools

I have a Dewalt 14.4v cordless drill for about 10 years and it has worked awesome. I replace the chuck be cause it wore out last year but overall the best power tool I ever owned. Anyone else had good luck with Dewalt ?

YUP, AWESOME STUFF......... MOST OF MY ELECTRICAL TOOLS ARE DEWALTS......... 3 DRILLS, SAWZALL, RADIO PLAYER, CIRCULAR SAWS, FLASHLITES, BIT SETS, 1/2" IMPACT GUN........ HAVE BEAT THE CRAP OUTTA THIS STUFF AND THEY JUST KEEP TICKIN':d

ive got three 18 volt drill one 14 and then the misses has the old 9volt....
cordless recip saw as well as the corded version power saws jig saw sanders hammer drills never had an issue with them

had a rigid 1/2 drill had it for two years although not used much already on my second one

love my drill it is about 9 years old still works great 14.4

have a worktruck loaded w/18 volt...12 different tools...10 batt pcks...its like friggin Macgyver...bring it biotch!!!

Prefer Makita 18V lithium for hammerdrill and impact. The other dewalt stuff is ok if you have seven or 8 batteries and a couple of chargers. Have several dewalt kits for work all the hammerdrills have been rebuilt at least once but they get used alot. Had the Makitas for 2 years now batteries are still good and they charge in less than 25 minutes...Good thing about Dewalt is that if you take them to the Dewalt store they will rebuild them; max cost is I think$140.00 got a 36 volt dewalt tool kit at work it's a complete POS. Too heavy to use all day and three batteries later they still won't hold a charge.

I have the org 18v Dewalt drill, when the 18's first come out. Down to 1 battery, but still works great. I do have numerous other's as well, corded and electric.
I have been in the drywall industry for the past 28yrs. I have seen many manufactures come and go. New and Improved. You will alway's pay more money for a DeWalt, because of the name. But mostly, because of their dependability. I have dropped screw guns, impacts, and corded tools,(by accident..of course) from scaffold, accidently kicked them down a staircase. Pick 'em up, and they still work fine, and will keep working for many years to come. Many other manufacturer's will NOT take the DeWalt drop challenge, if you ask them too.

I dropped my 12V Dewalt drill off the roof of a 4 story building, it landed on the concrete below, only broke one of the clips off the battery. I have 2 or 3 drills and a hammerdrill and love them all. Dewalt is all I will buy.
