We rode Renshaw today. There was at least 6" of fresh in blackwater, we ventured further to find some nice snow in the start of the anthills, then to ghost lake where there was over a foot of snow. Had a great day. It was snowing good all day and coming down at the end of the day good again

Mike many #'s you got one for Bell, I've never been always Renshaw or Luicelle or point me in the right direction. No need for you to do all the work lol. Boys want to try it out since we can go from Scarecrow. Thanks.

Here is some info I was given if need a heli in McBride. We ended up last year having to go with Yellowhead and because of the distance it was a expensive day.
They are located at the Mcbride airport

Easy to find. Just go to any gas station and they will tell you.

Up Renshaw via Anthills out to Spirit then to cabin. Open areas have been affected by wind but sheltered areas were GREAT!! 12-14 inches of good powder, trees were deeper, alpine was crisp and cool!

We rode Renshaw on dec 28, We started at the cabin, then made our way northeast into an area found it pretty tracked and windblown. Then headed over the saddle and towards the North. Found some decent powder quite a ways in towards the alberta side. Found the snow in a lot of the areas to be pretty wind blown. You can find the gems but your going to have to look a bit.

Went up tonight with Rod W to groom Renshaw. He usually grooms belle and Lucille. He worked on making the trail wider and bringing snow into the areas where there is ice. Got rid of a few trees that were hazards as well. He tried to fix the trail up to the parking lot. We scraped some snow from the parking lot and brought some down the trail for a short bit. Low snow in the staging area to approximately km 10 make icy or bare areas. you got to watch when your going to the Alberta side. If you're not careful you will end up in Wilmore Wilderness park. :nono:
