you got to watch when your going to the Alberta side. If you're not careful you will end up in Wilmore Wilderness park. :nono:

One dam nice valley but out of bounds so stay out!!!!!!
Renshaw is big enough, never seen it truly tracked out yet like the down south areas. V, BR, Revy

Question on Renshaw. The trail you can take in around the 23km mark gets you into the ant hills correct? Is it pretty advanced? I heard something about a waterfall to navigate.

Rode Lucille for a half day. It was slim pickings, didn't really find any snow. How far back does a guy have to go back in Renshaw to find snow there ? Only have 3 guys so wasn't wanting to go all the way to Alberta side.

I wouldn't bother with Lucille really. Went on Sunday and it was extremely low for this time of year. Hopped into butterfly and hit plenty of rocks just riding around. One guy in another group managed to fold his a-arm in and destroy his shock on a pro. The climb out was filled with stumps which made for a interesting pull.

Best snow was near the cabin in the trees.

Road Renshaw again today, trail up was awesome. Nice and wide, great job rod.
We went with Higgins to spirit lake and beyond. Wow, what a day, nice snow, untouched, was a bit hectic getting out though.

The trail going down to spirit lake is quite rough at the first big initial drop. It is very rutted and has several rocks. By the end of the day there was a line up of people to go up there and many had to take several runs. The alternative hill needed a lot more snow as several rocks were still showing and no one took that chance.

Rode Renshaw again yesterday. Found a little bit of snow in the trees by the cabin. On our way home today.

I know I commented earlier in the thread on a guy saying Renshaw was tracked out, but its getting close. Guys were all the way back to spirit and said they didn't find anything special.
