Cutler 1300 kit on M1000 Reliable

Not sure about that kit but Cutler is know for having nice stuff. So I would tend to think it would work

I had a buddy put a 1200 kit on his 07 M1000. I hated that sled. Always stopping to get the fuel dialled in. I dont remember if that is when the mixed race gas BS started or if that was after the turbo he had installed. Damn thing was my nightmare. I hated when he rode it as it so temperamental. He ended up trying to get some money out of it after he bought new proclimb when they came out.

I have a stock M1000. Never turn a wrench on it, just start and go. Cant beat that.

Had a buddy run one a few years ago. Wasn't worth it imo. Was always playing with fueling and had a hard time keeping it running perfect. Also good luck pulling it over if it's been out in the cold. He used to bring a space heater to heat the motor up so he could pull it over. He almost pulled the sled off the deck once when he gave her a good yank on the pull cord. He was happy to get rid of it.

I sold our last sleds.
Have tried many of them.
But kept our old M1000 sleds through it all as they were my favorites.
Mine has a blown motor.
So I thought instead of just rebuilding it to stock, would maybe big bore them.

Smokindave has a rebuilt m1000 motor for sale in the classifieds for $1200 which seems like a good price.

Not sure what your riding style is like but I would just get Linderman to port and polish the stock M and do a 174 3" or new 2.8 conquerer track. The ol M1000 hang pretty good with the new iron still if set up properly.

My friend has a 1200 made by absolute power and performance it's been pull and go for all of last year. It's faster than my proclimb 800 like I am a 600

We mostly ride 1000 ' up to 7000' occasionally.
The trails up and back down, trees, boondocking, deep powder, and hill climbing.
The 162 tracks under them seem plenty long.
Somedays I wish that we bought 153s instead.
I like track speed, and quick back shifting clutches, and gobs of instantaneous snappy horsepower.
Sold our shiny new turbo 4 strokes, the weight bothered us.
I loved the M1000 and thought well maybe even more of that sweet naturally aspirated horsepower would be even better.
I'll look into other options as well then.
And try to reach the fellow with the engine.
