good video your kid can sure rip!, do you think a CRF 150R could make the widow maker?

Well he is hoping to do it before the end of the year or Lloyds race. He hasn't hit the tripple yet???? He has jumped way further then that when racing but he wants to follow someone over it the first time.

Yeah I think it could make it now that they put that berm in so you can carry speed, and really? I havent either but my buddies say its easier to hit than the doubles?? lol yeah then at least you know exactly how to hit it and dont end up getting hurt

ouch! its never nice seeing someone come up short on that one. probably winds too strong like last year at the races they "closed" it on the 2nd day because of wind, I remember one time on the last backhill there was a strong wind and I was blown off of the take off in the air on to the grass haha

Love my 150R, although I must say there's a world of difference with the big wheel on these things.. I used to rock an 85 and a 105 with the smaller wheels and man am I ever glad I got the 150R with the big wheel, much better control :)

Nice bike. The boy absolutly loves his. Did you get rid of the off idle bog on yours? I think I finally got the boys fixed up last night.

Hmmm..please explain? Not aware of "off idle bog".. unless there is another term for it. I'm honestly not too mechanically inclined,I definitely learn as I go and I can handle routine maintenance myself but my bike goes to my friend/mechanic a couple times a season for repairs and tuning. My bike runs pretty good, it's a little tricky to start cold but usualy a couple twists of the throttle before I kick it and it will start, once it's warm she goes pretty good. Need to adjust the jetting occasionally. I just bought it last September so i'm looking forward to a full season on it.. enjoy this bike a lot compared to the 2 strokes I had previously...those things were just fuggin nuts..I can actually CONTROL the 150r lol

Once it is warmed up and just sitting there idling and you wick the throttle i mean like can it really fast does it bog or rev out?

It will bog sometimes, then others it will take off with good throttle response, I suppose I just learn to accept the fact its a 4-stroke and they can be quite finicky..but I noticed it usually only bogs out when I first start it once it's been sitting and hit the throttle, sometime it will stall, but once its nice and warm she plays pretty nice!

I also notice my bike sometimes really hates the hot start when its hot, but loves it when its cold..then sometimes vice versa. She's got a mind of her own..haha

Our 150R is doing the same. It's got a nasty bog off idle which I can't seem to get rid of. I've tried tuning it with the needle and it gets better the fatter is gets, but power is less crisp. Going to spend a good day tuning it next weekend.

Don't forget with an open exhaust like a MX bike you'll always have popping. When it's really loud and fast pops on deceleration just open the fuel screw 1/2 turn.
