Crappy Suspension Ride.

I have an 04 summit highmark extreme and it rides like a bucking bronco on the trail. I think it may be the rear shock but then the dealer sujested the springs maybe. I can grab the bumper and push it down and pull it up about 4-6 inches at rest. I have tried adjusting the spring tension but no change. Should I try a new shock or what and what shock do you sugest and $$.

Push down on the back and let it come up by itself and see what it does. It should come up and not go up and down much at all. If it does, chances are that you're shock might need to be rebuilt.

My suspension doesn't come back up after compressing.
I am not sure if it can be rebuilt.
I have read that only the ones on the summit x are rebuildable.
What shock do you suggest for the rear, I hear that Fox are not as good as the HPG.
I need a shock, HELP!!!!

what about one of the bars sized that moves.... need to greese often.. might even be frozen
