Couldn't get fuel to it running hight 16s with main fuel at 191

So I was out yesterday and my main fuel was at 137 on a long steep and deep pull a/r gauge would stay at 11.9 today went out same area same hills and I could not get a/r gauge below 15 on short burst i was to scared to hold it anymore then a few seconds maxed my main fuel up to 191 . Any idea what's going on everything is connected and looks ok from what I can see I have 2013 xm with TSS side mount turbo with intercooler

Boost it Box? I had one that worked perfect one season then the next it wouldn't work at all. I am not sure what went wrong with it. I heard every excuse from "dirty" race gas to clogged injectors. Luckily I had a Attitude Performance box with.....I hooked it up and all was good again.

Ya kinda figured its either a injector or the box and way to test injectors in the shop

On mine the red light would come on but it wouldn't add any fuel at all. I am sure it was a wiring issue inside the box itself since I used the same injectors with my Attitude box and it work fine. All I know is for whatever reason the box would not add any fuel at all and me being a US customer I was out of luck as far as getting a new box from Boost-it.

The AF sensor is brand new that was the 3rd ride on it. but it does kinda make sense cause really how long could u ride in the 14 to 15 range with out squeeking it. It's weird tho cause u would think after turning the box up to 191 there would be fuel pouring out of the pipe and there wasn't it seemed to run ok and we were in the trees most of the day, my buddy did say it blew out a pretty good cloud when i took off from start up.

My silber is doing the same kind of thing. Maxed out the fuel on the top end and I the lowest I can get the Afr is 12.8. Was told to check the fuel pressure. Haven't had a chance to yet, anyone know the easiest way to check fuel pressure on these sleds??

We have a gauge that shows the pressure. I am still at 42 lbs. this is on a TSS set up. As well I just changed my afr sensor out. Headed up to mcbride tomorrow morning. Changed the map to 2014 set up and add fuel where I saw lean last time out....

This excerpt is right out of the Boost-It XIC owners manual. (It's been truncated, as part of the paragraph does not pertain to the conversation).

"Main Fuel - ....Maximum value is 191, and if maximum is reached you can get more fuel by increasing RPM Trim numbers, or an alternative method is to change the FUEL MULT to X2, but also the extra injectors may need to changed to high flow rate, or there could be a fuel pressure/delivery problem (pump inadequate). The stock fuel pump's flow will decrease with high engine boost pressure."

Please be aware that FUEL MULT is a "hidden" parameter and shouldn't be changed unless you know what you're doing (you're a tuner). "X1, is the default and normal setting. X2 can be used if the Main Fuel number is near or at the maximum of 255 (?, though it says 191 later in the manual). If you change to X2 then you need to reduce the Main Fuel number by half. The XIC can produce longer injector pulse times with this setting at X2."

Food for thought. Probably best to call TSS and ask them about it, unless you are a tuner...

I called them Brandon figured it was the AFR sensor so I will ttry a new one hopfully I dont blow it up.

I still think you have something wrong with your box. On my Etec once you get the fuel rich you know it and can hear it. If you are turning your fuel up more and more without any change in AFR and you have no symptoms of running rich like a bog or gurgle I would guess you are leaner than you think. When mine went bad it would spool up and pull hard for a brief moment then it was just like you turned the fuel off and it would pop and cut out. The AFR would go off the chart when this happened. Can you swap boxes with someone else to eliminate the box as the problem?

No I dont no of anyone else close that has a TSS as for revs around 7900 on clicker 2 there havent been any bos but it does gurgle at the bottom end

I am going to remove fuel filters and change out and see what happens... I only had 39 PSI when into a pull, so either filters or pump I am hoping.

What was the problem with this sled? Did you figure it out?

Mine was secondary clutch bushings believe it or not...runs like a champ again...
