No.........the Corbin Country Club groomer is broke down and from what I have heard, there is no money for repairs at this time.

We came out of Corbin yesterday around 5 pm and met a groomer coming in. Thanks god the last 2 kms were relatively smooth...the trail was a bone crusher :D

Tell me about access to the Corbin area and what the riding areas are like please. Coming to Fernie to ride jan 8-9. One of our party of three has a brother who lives there but id like to know before i go.

We are 38 yrs old. Fairly novice and Intermediate riders. Worried near town will be tracked up by that time with the forecast as it is.

There is normally enough. Three staging areas; the yellow gates (don't know if anybody uses that anymore), the Tin Shacks (valve station on the pipeline), and the town site at the end of the road.
Thank you!!

Talked with some guys tonight, they said they went down to cutts cabin, and tried Harvey creek, snow was sketchy and a little nervous about obstacles when ripping threw snow.. One good dump they said could be the difference

Heading out tomorrow to Corbin first trip this season, just wondering if anyone is staging at the tin shack? Are we even allowed to stage at the Tin shack?

Chris all you have to remember is that it is illegal to ride on a plowed, active logging road in BC. If you can get to the pipeline without being on a plowed road you are golden. We rode untracked all day in the Rolling Hills. Friggin' trail in from Morrissey is rougher than spring riding with no snow.

Sorry Wideman I never took the camera out once, I hope you recover quickly and get back out there! Corbin still lacks snow but still managed to have a lot of fun.

Thanks Doug that's exactly what we did! We made a poor area choice and rode semi tracked out areas(The Notch) but still managed to have a blast!

Ya' the area of choice for a lot of peeps. Get way off to the left or right and there is lots of untracked. Oodles of untracked right around the cabins but it has always been that way as lots of peeps don't ride the trees.
