The Fernie side has the Coal Creek road plowed and they are logging. So the only feasible access is to go to Morrissey. Last year riders went in via the tin shack and thought they were parking out of harms way only to come back and find their trucks blocked with logs. It isn't worth it to make the loggers angry.

That's what I figured. Was hoping to avoid driving to Morrisey if possible, but if that's what I have to do then that's what I'll do.

I think it's occasionally groomed form the Coal Creek side, just wondering now that Corbin and Fernie clubs have merged whether this grooming is now extended down to Corbin. What about the pipeline to Corbin, groomed now?


For what it's worth, I'm a Fernie club member, so not trying to cut-out trail fees. We're coming from Bellevue so just looking to reduce drive time.

Definitely not plowed but passable....don't think I would hit it without recent fresh.

Sorry bud, I can't help you out. Hard finding out information on the staging areas and what is down the trail.

Our District Manager for BRP was in Corbin this past week. He said the trails were baby butt smooth as Ferniesnow would put it. Good snow in Heartbreak he said.

The main trail at Corbin was in good shape on Saturday but as always trail up to limestone is rough, only seen two sleds all day only 5 trucks in parking lot 3 of which from our group, lots of people parked at pipeline guessing people did not want to pay the $25 trail fee.

Love limestone, some real nice pulls in there at the top, how was snow, we were in fernie last week and it was ok, had to be carful under 5800' but above it was good on shaded side, limestone is some what the same, but decent trees on the way up

Limestone is also one of my favourite places to ride the snow was good bumper deep mostly and some windblown areas and deeper snow in the trees we played safe so didn’t get to many big pulls because of the avy conditions, was a good day tho
