anyone live in Conklin Ab or been through Conklin please send me a pm I am heading there tonight and need some info thanks.

i am in need of directions there seems like shorter roots to get there but I am unsure the best way? also was wondering about camps and accomadations there?

Quickest is to go through Lac La Biche (I dont know any other way) It is paved right to the Corner, There is Karens Corner that is one of the Camps, If you are going from GP The fastest is through slave lake then athabasca IMO

how is the road is it well marked ? are there many turns off it? what are the chances of getting lost is the main road well defined?

Just go straight through town , as you leave town you will pass fiddlers gas station on your right , follow that hiway until you come to 881 , turn right . well marked from there

anyone know how long it takes to get to conklin from gp?

When leaving LLB there will be a left to get on the highway 15mins out of town....then about another 10-15 to get to the'Conklin highway'. The Conklin corner is on KM178ish and the trip takes me about 2.5hrs from Atha-b....there is a sweet PTI camp but it is usaully full. Karens corner # 780 559 2008
