The power commander is really quite easy to install. First thing I would say is open the box and read the instructions . You only need to hook up a power and ground wires and then it plugs in line to the fuel injector harnesses. And then download the fuel map from dynojets website that applies to your setup and it should be good. I'm pretty sure that's all I had to do

I hope you will have better luck than I did. I have a power commander 3, HMF exhaust on my Suzuki 700 king and I really never notice any performance at low or mid range, only at top range. What I was not looking for. The down loads skipped my year 2006, wish I new were to get the maps for my year. Good luck with your quad and your commander. But he is right there is only 2 wires to hook up and the rest is just a plug that goes to your injector harness. You should also change your filter, more air in more air out gives more power, cheers.

To bad you already bought the powercommander as I would have recommended the MSD controller. By far the best gains and reliabilty, a bit more expensive but well worth it IMO. Easy to follow instr. came with my powercommander when I bought it in 2009, was easy to use and set up but didn't give me any noticible gains.
