Well got home about 3 pm and yes there was a hangover involved. 2900 kilometres in 5 day at 35- 40 degrees is more than enough but all in all a good trip, going out with my wife to a air conditioned restaurant. Peace out!

We got 5 mile radar detectors and laser jammers built it the bikes. You’d have to really be slacking on paying attention to get a ticket.
We…?
How well does it work in the mountains?
And what kind of unit should a guy be looking at?

Some of those setups get pricey.

Alp connect. I’ve had one since 2019. Knock on wood never had a ticket on my bike. My buddy Steve has one also, the only time he got a ticket on his bike was when he didn’t have the app on his phone running with the jammer lol. The laser jammer works around cities because that’s what they use on rural freeways,it’s all laser. A built-in radar is very important for outside the cities. All cops drive around flicking the switch off and on the radar gun. This built-in kit will pick it up for miles. If he flicks his gun on a car, that’s two minutes ahead. I will pick it up. I don’t know about anyone else’s kits but this ALP is the ch!t. I paid originally for mine 3400 installed. I believe they are four grand installed now. That includes front and rear defense. The app is full and interactive globally.

I don’t have a radar jammer in my bike and recently found out they impound your vehicle at 30 over , not 40 over as I originally thought. My high speed trips are done. This last trip there were to many close calls and it’s supposed to be relaxing, I’m to old to push the limits. And I want to get home to my family! Those radar jammers are pretty Awsome. Andrew is a very good rider and loves to rip. Has likely paid for his already and clearly saved me some tickets. Talk to him about them , bring your piggy bank!

Going those speeds on a bike is nuts especially in some areas of the mountains, no room for errors, one mistake you bite the dust. Andrew your nuts.
It Definitely can be dangerous. We were early on the road. No traffic. Obviously animals are a concern. I don’t go full retard. I try to ride at what I call Fun Fast. It’s a pace I’ve learned over 50 yrs to ride at off-road and on road. Some days you feel it, and some days you don’t. Motorcycles are definitely all in if you crash but..
You live every day. And die once.
I’m getting slower as I get older. Don’t worry boys I will be OK.👍🏼

Finally out for that ride. Did osoyoos up to Kamloops over on the 5a to Merritt down to Princeton back home. Little wet starting out but ended up to be a fabulous ride.
