Went from Nakusp , did a loop around through Kaslo , down to Creston and back to Nelson. Another great day, Going to visit my budd in Penticton tomorrow, The boys are headed to Kaslo and back through radium. Around 400 k today. Was a blast riding and hangin out .

Split from Lyle. he went to see a buddy he has in Okanogan. Way to hot riding in that heat in traffic with tourists. We stayed in the kooteneys. Road slocan Valley today and on our way to Kaslo. Lunch at Leland pub.
Wednesday when we got here big fires lit from lightning strikes. Slocan lake

on the far side has tons of fires.

Back home now but Wednesday did old highway 23 north of revelstoke. It's a dead end highway to the mica dam but was a nice 330k there and back along the columbia river. Was long enough in the heat.

Another good day, met my budd in Christina Lake and rode back too Penticton, Went for a night ride up to Kerimasine, (spelled wrong lol)
Picked up my Harley parts look sweet, never took a lot of pics, busy burnin fuel!

Stay safe, fighting those fires. We saw the lightning strikes on Wednesday night. Every time one hit a mountain there was flames. Went through Silverton today. Watched the helicopters in Planes flying trying to save the homes on the one cliff under the highway. Some off grid families. Local guy talked to said it was pretty much under control this morning, but then it got hot again and they took off. smoky in kaslo tonight from slocan lake fire.

Got to radium 8 pm tonight. Swam 2 rivers 2 lakes moyle lake ? Spelling. Also Wasa lake. 10hrs ride in 37 degrees

You picked a good time to get out of the Kootaneys. Slocan north to Silverton is closed now. Smoke is heavy.
Here is the Silverton view point and Im getting equipment moving. Its getting crazy. Rather be riding but I have a lot going on.

Another day , good miles, no smoke, well not much anyway. Was a nice Solo day of riding and end it in Valemount with lots of beers and good times!

Kaslo motel. Nice little place to stay. The owner is great. That lightning on Thursday really made some fires. Mother nature burns. I hope all in that area. Stay safe.

You made it to Shane's? I went through there yesterday early afternoon, contemplated stopping but carried on home instead. Probably missed a good time, but I'm home and no hangover.

Radium to Nordegg this am 2.5 hrs. Average speed 150. on the parkway 150 at least lol we were on it this morning.

Home safe. Thousands of kilometres in that heat I feel like I was at big Valley for four days drinking. Time for a nap, wicked trip for Lyle steve and myself.
