Well, we made it over, but getting there was a challenge. All 4 creeks are still open and the Trails on the AB side are horrible. They have anywhere from 4inches of snow, to bare rock or just grass. The +7 temp out there today on the AB side didn't help things either.

The nasty shear rock climb that stopped us before had a bit more coverage, but still wasn't good. We had one sled with a bit of problem and we had to give a ski pull, but the other two climbed right up it. On our way back we could tell another group made it that far but turned around, to bad cause it got good after that!

We spent a good hour building trail on the last hill. We filled the hole with logs and covered it with snow - it should be good for the season as long people take care of it.

Then it got good... waist deep snow with a solid base already formed. Sorry i didn't get many action shots, mix of dead camera and too much fun to stop riding to take them!

Went out on Saturday no snow at all near cataract staging area. Found a foot maybe in some spots but pretty scarce for the most part guys. Wind has blown the little bit of snow there is off the trails in some spots. Hopefully it will start dumping soon!
