Just to wrap this one up, Canada Post is jacking their prices on all mail and parcels by 25% next week:

Canada Post proposes new postage rates for 2025

OTTAWA – Canada Post is proposing to increase regulated postage rates in 2025. For stamps purchased in a booklet, coil or pane, which represent the majority of stamp sales, the rate would increase by 25 cents, to $1.24 per stamp.

All I can say is: Please try to cancel any and all mail that you receive. I called my bank and had them cancel all letters to me. I called a charity I contributed to and had them cancel all letters to me.
