I am not strong enough to lift the wall, lift the trusses or screed the concrete by myself.


I Used the skid steer to put the walls up. Sheathed them on the ground. So they were pretty heavy. Truss's im using my arms, legs and a ladder....

Haha ..you can get some truss spacers that hold the trusses up and clamp them in place when you are by yourself. They are made of metal and clamp on like teeth sort of.

I have hurican ties in place. I lift the truss up and slide them in the ties and nail em down. Pretty easy.id be done faster if i put the phone away though...

I let my slab dry for a week. I did that all by myself too. I guess if its someone elses, who cares though. Lol
I was going to do my own slab when I built mine years ago, but I wasn't confident enough to do the power troweling so I farmed the whole job out.

wish I would have know about these when I did mine. Went Old school and toenailed the trusses dwown.


I put 6 inch structural screws in too.


Getting ready for that huricane machine to hit alberta haha

I work on huge multi million dollar buildings made of concrete so i know a thing or 2

Well hopefully it was a new sort facility for canadapost instead of amazon. But i already know this government could not build anything that would work.

Never built any thing for canada post. Done lots of work for amazon though.

Baxxxtards have some of my fishing gear held hostage due to a “ disruption “ aka picketing the Purolator depot . Hopefully that will sort through soon
