Each of the 4 allen head bolts had o-rings. 2 of them stayed in the cover, first 1 fell in the bottom, and 1 stayed with the allen bolt. The cover even looks like they should be there.

nope not supposed to be anything there. maybe something the last guy did to stop them from vibrating loose. not a bad idea

I'll take a pic tomorrow. I honestly don't know. This is the first Rev I have had, or worked on on my own

I've seen them with small o-rings around the threaded part to hold them in the cover, so they sandwich between the cover and engine when you tighten them..... No harm done.

My appologies :( I was wrong. I was working on the Doo earlier, and remembered this topic from last night. I took a close look, and there is 4 locking washer's that fit into the housing. Where the allen bolts go.

Well I got her running last night for a bit. Pretty amazing that it did run with that rattly clutch.

No more clutch noise, disguised as crank rattle.

your going to want to replace those ski's , that thing will dart something fierce , also check the front of you sliders at the bend and see if they are wearing badly , some had the front skid bolt in the wrong location , 3/4 of an inch low:d

I wasn't overly happy with the handling today. Any recommendations for skis?
The sliders are in great shape. I had a buddy with me when I bought it, and he said the sliders were basically new.
But I will look for that bolt location

Looks like the left ski is pointing outwards , looks a little out of whack that could be your problem:beer:

The bars are turned a bit, and I was at a bit of an angle when taking the pic. But even sitting straight, the skis do look a little off. Wondering if they were put on one notch off?
