Thats most riders you know Chris. Compare the snow left in the tree's and then have a boo at Superbowl on your way out. There are still alot of guys plugging away at the same hill all day. Why? I will never understand but to each there own. Lol.

I agree Ken and I don't want to be sour about it because I would love doo to start with a real light weight mountain sled and build a trail sled from it rather than the other way around.

Just because maxxy is such a weiner about trolling every competing brand thread there is, I thought it would be nice to come in here and predict all of the things that will go wrong with the McDonald's school bus. :D Ought to be lots of people destroying tracks as they fling lugs into outer space on the trail.....that is of course if the fragile chain case doesn't blow up. Aww shucks, none of that will happen since that poor little EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEtec won't spin it faster than 30 km/h anyways (10 kph in the deep snow). And heck, if it does make it up the trail - the first little hole in the snow will pretzel those girly little rails like overcooked spaghetti thereby ruining what could have been a great day striking poses in your pink onesie suit!

Enjoy the doolaide, ladies! :beerchug: ;)

Wondering where you got to? Now that some bashing is going on in a Doo thread you finally appear. Welcome back!

you goofs should be embarrassed by your high school girlish rah rah crap over something unproven just cause its got a certain decal on it. The joke isnt the sled, its you guys, we dont know yet how that'll turn out, and i'm not gonna bash it or applaud it till i've seen it work. You and a few other Doo goofs would beak and yap hurrah if Doo announced a 1.2 lug height 109 inch, 640 lb mountain sled built for technical tree riding, then if the next week Doo cancelled that and announced, no its a 198 inch 4 inch lug track, you goofs would fill the net with cheers cause thank god its exactly what the sport needs . LOL. The good thing is you and a few others have long since peed away any real credibility, but you guys do provide good entertainment value.
I'm looking forward to seeing the new Doo work, but gonna try and contain my woody and my giggling until i see the results. Kinda sucks for the guys who were looking forward to 2015 changes but don't want a 174, pretty skinny advancements for those guys, that was probably disapointing for those guys.
I really like what Polaris did with their menu type snochek thing, that makes sense, choose the features important to you, smart.
But keep beaking and yipping, MAYBE you'll be right LOL

what LOL

polaris rush = polaris rmk

polaris rush ---> 2009

skidoo XM --2013 LATER released in trail version

they are trying to lose weight. lost 17lbs this season so the 174 t3 weighs the same as last years 163. sure its not pro weights but its really hard to get there without losing the huge track footprint and the motor that makes 160+hp and all the tech that goes with it. not to mention the chassis has proven to be fairly durable. cant say the same about the nasa gllue sled.

uhhh no

you know they dont build them in quebec and never ride them right. theres like 50 of them floating around in different shape or form.

and for the guys that dont want a 174. a factory 163x3 is pretty cool. especially with the 27mm chaincase drop that guys are spending 5000$ to do

Lol ahh post of The year right there. Anyone who truly rides the steep deep tight trees knows this thing will take it to the next level. Not the other way.

Maxwell, I have ridden with Daryl Baker from Racer's Edge more than once. Him and his friends run big tracks and usually big power with light weight parts. Honestly they can't go where we go, and we can't go where they go. Just completely different ridding. With their group the top rider has the biggest wallet and in our group the top rider is usually younger and stronger. Usually this leaves me trying to follow impossible trenches on the side of a cliff covered in trees. (I am not the top rider)

If you think the 3 x 174 is going to make you hang with the young guys I ride with, you are delusional.

Lotta sour grapes goin' on here....what's the hate for girls? (Ya YOU Teth....)

I've had 174's on my last two sleds and wouldn't run without that size of track now. Of course....I probably couldn't hang with Teth and boys either. Oh wait: I don't care. I've ridden with Baker and the gang as well and they are great guys to ride with. They likely don't care if they hang with Teth either.....

Well this post has turned into sh!t show since the topic... Right from the start!!! Everyone has allot of catch up to do with each other in different aspects... Polaris = Light, belt drive .. Skidoo = 174 3" ... AC = Power, torque... Yamaha = 4s Turbo... Lets think about this you can add a 174 x 3" on a Poo less than NEW cost of the new doo... You can add 174 x 3" to a 2015 Viper 153 with 180 - 190 hp just above the price of the NEW skidoo .... AC u can add a 174 x 3" with pure grunt for near or less than a Ski doo... But ya so what is the fuggin groaning.. And all the the hype the Quebec sled is the bomb... Ride what ya like or loyal to b!tches...

I'm 101% a Yamaha guy... This year I went with a used Pro with a Turbo and I luv it... Oh by the way buying a used 2013 Pro LE with 42 miles and adding a turbo = less $ than 2015 doo 174... So pick your poison and have fun!!!

Cheers...

So the new xm t3 174 is the sled to beat. Stock to stock the other big 3 aren't even in the same race. Also a 4 yr warranty. I'm not sure that with 10 grand in aftermarket goodies you could make the competitors sleds comparable. At minimum cat. Polaris and yamy will need a 174" track but with only 15" wide they still will lack a foot print. I can't wait for the future to see what happens next to sleds.

Its a good thing Blood is thicker than Doolaid !!!

Back on topic.Yes the competition can and will catch up.Personally that huge school bus is not for me.I like the 3" 163,they should also offer a 154 3".Doo needs too lose some weight. Old dude like me needs a light weight sled like my pro.Skidoo seems to be setting the bar high on the prices as well.Lots of doolaid consumed on this site,Alberta dealers must give it away for free.

Will this be the year that Doo's XM finally beats the Pro in sales ? They haven't done it yet.

Dead serious, Doolaid Boy. I was surprised as my Doo-riding buddies that the XM was still outsold by the Pro this year. If you have some super secret source for mountain sled sales that shows Doo beating Polaris in mountain sled sales, put it up.
This is from the Jan./Feb., 2014 issue of Snowtech :

"Ski-Doo would also like selling more mountain sleds. As good as their Summit models work, Polaris is still selling more RMKs."

Since the Pro came out, this has been the case. Every year, you Doo tards make me find a reputable source to back this up. In the end, it really doesn't matter. The majority of well informed consumers have been buying the best all-around mountain sled for four years now. Hopefully, Doo will claim this title for 2015, then Polaris will be forced to finally give us an engine worthy of the Pro chassis.
