Finally got most parts and started into it. Like the dropped rear a-arms idea not sure about front spring lift, solid looking but think a-arm drop better. With rear all apart easier to do snorkels but no kit yet hope not to far away. Here are pics of project so far.

as far as I know, the SLD Mod is only needed on the 2009 850, and even some of those dont have the slipping problem where you would need the SLD mod. I ordered one for my machine but after 4 or 5 races this past summer with 32: silverbacks and throttle pinned and no slipping, mine must be one that doesnt require the SLD mod. The 2010 machines were made differently in the tranny so that this slipage thing wasnt supposed to happen. I've only heard from 1 person that said they had theirs slip in a 2010. Honeslty, I wouldnt worry about it unless you do hear it or feel it slipping in your transmission.this was sent to me from paul at rubberdown customs

Worked on Steve's 850 yesterday, startin to come together nicely.
First pic of rear a-arms installed, lots of angle on axle, hope settles down after ride
Next pic is of front lift on lower shock mount.
Rad removed for relocation, make it easier to clean quad now.
Tires on and tons of clearance, thats the lowest point on machine.
Have to trim fender for some more clearance dam 32" take a lot of room
Hoses coming up for new rad location.
Rad installed.
Ready for test ride today, wish we had mud to try in but at least got nice weather this time of year. Hope Steve not scared of heights, this thing sure sits high. LOL

that is one wild freak n looking machine, the axle angle look scary. If you have a little hill around try side hilling with out rolling your quad, I would like to know if it is to top heavy. What was your total cost of this build. With the rad where it is do you still need a fan.
