I like the box. Has lots of storage and I don't even know its there. Yes I built the snorkels myself.

Huh, I might have to check into one. I'm also thinking about snorkeling. How did you route yours? It seems impossible to get them to the front rack hard piped.

You had a link once, can you post it up again?

I don't have pics of how I snorkeled it this time. But It is all hard pipe. The belt intake runs along the left side of the engine. I made it 1 1/4" pipe to fit behind the plastic. It then goes up through the gas tank guard to the rack. The belt exhaust runs down the right side the engine right against the engine mounts. It is also 1 1/4" pipe so the footwell fits back on. It then crosses under the driveshaft to the left side of the quad and up beside the belt intake. The belt snorkels are only 1 1/4" pipe where the plastics were tight to get back on. Everywhere else is 1 1/2". The first air box one runs down beside the steering post, angles out toward the front of the quad and then takes a right to the outside of the fender. The second air box come out of the air box and goes over the fuel pump, then right out to the fender. Both are done completely in 1 1/2" pipe. the stacks screw into the fender so if I need to remove the rack I can just unscrew them. I made the mistake of glueing the 90's on instead of silicone so i can't unscrew them at this time. I have to remake the stacks. I can try to take some pictures but not sure how much I can get with the plastic on. With the belt exhaust I put a rubber coupler in line so if I ever have to get in the belt housing I can undo 2 hose clamps, remove a section of pipe to access the belt.

On the rad relocate I came up with the design and got RDC to put it on the kit instead of the stock design.

Building a RZR4 Mud Machine!
I have always wanted to add a lift to one of my rzrs and put some monster tires on it (as my kids say). Basically have 1 cool muddin machine. Here's what I have decided, my 2010 RZR4 does not get much use (we always end up riding our 2 seat rzr-s models) so I think it would be ideal to make this a muddin machine. Plus it already has long travel and it is long so maybe that will help with stability. So I need everyones opinion, what do I need and what brands do you recommend. Here is what I have thought so far:

1. 31s or 32s for tires - I hear of different brands out there but what is the best for mud?

2. Probably add a lift - Since I have heard you can already get extra height by adjusting the current suspension, I am not for sure how much more of a lift I need. Maybe 2 or 3 inches. Is this correct, if so who makes one that is good for my purpose?

3. Axles, I would think that I may need some better axles, is this true? I have heard of the Gorilla axles, do they work for the rzr4.

4. Snorkel, I want to add a snorkle, think it would be wise. What is out there that would work with the RZR4.

5. Last, a muddin machine is not complete without a killer sounding exhaust. What would work good with mud. I have seen the 2brothers triple exhaust and thought it would be cool just don't know how well it would work with the mud.

Anything else I need.....any suggestions are helpful. I would like to do this up nice and hopefully not have many problems. So give me some advice, please?

Sorry to say there is no such thing as a killer sounding exhaust on a 800, but a muzzy system comes close. Talk to Chris at Parkland Motor Sports if you are close to Stony Plain 780-963-0080
