And back to the issue...

Can anyone tell me why the HECK the new engines come with the holes for the reeds NOT threaded? Man what a pain in the bum. Why would they do that? I had to drop off my engine this am to a buddies shop to get it threaded.

Other than that minor complaint I think I should have the whole thing up and running tonight! Stoked!!!!

Just need to get some chain case oil and a new bumper. My free replacement bumper is finally kaput! Thanks all for your help on here. I will post pics and the video of my start up and my retardedly stupidly happy dance and face when she fires!!!:d:d:d

Super stoked! Just got my new bumper, some chain case oil and a few new spark plugs. My hands are greasy yet again. Love it.

I guess the reason my sled was over fueling was because the choke was outta whack, so a quick adjustment fixed that. Kill switch wasn't working because...it was unplugged... tee hee. haha Must of happened on a roll once. Dur!

Here's a couple pics!

1.) me with the engine
2.) Rob the man behind getting the engine in!
3.) Hrs engine replaced at
4.) KM's engine replaced at!

Don't know how to upload the video of the first fire :(

Wow I love my sled and sledding!

ATF from your local petro canada will work excelent in the chaincase

I'm not gonna stir the pot but i don't know if i would go this route, we tried in on 2 Specialty climbers and blew chains in both, can't explain it but i think it's to thin and doesnt stick to the chain well enough to lube. I went to Walmart and bought some synthetic gear oil and havent had any trouble.

Congrats on your build up.....great job.

they dont tap those holes because, your bolts are self tapping[unless you run V-FORCE] and they say its the best threads you will get?New chain cases are that way too.
