Well we are now about ready to flood. with the run off from the mountains not quite here, and the river rising.. its time to start sand bagging the realtives house.

the river right now is at 15 feet. flood stage is 16 feet. we have a dam north of us that is so full of water they are having to increase the flow of the output, which is flooding us to the south.. but the only way they can control the water level in the dam is bye letting out more water.. right now the water is comign in at roughly 120kcfs and only leaving at 75kcfs.. and the river has risen about 8 feet sense the start of it..

they are projecting right now, the river will get up to the 20-21 feet stage, and then stay like this all the way to july. we figure we have about 4-5 more days b4 the water gets to the point where it really jumps up.

we can watch the water rise from the time we started this morning sand bagging till the time we quite tonight.

here are some pics

first trip to get sand bags.. loaded and unloaded them.. in all today we did 11 truck loads and one flat bed car trailer full

i dont think our water gets to you guys. its part of the missouri and that comes from montana. we are having the same issue right now with our lake.. the lake is taking on more water then the damn can realse. pretty soon it will be over the spillway and then all he11 breaks loose

in from a long day.. went to work at 5 am. got off at 3 pm.. started helpign rob1334 and his family sand bag their aunts.. easily made 2000 sand bags for her house.

after i finished that i went and helped my uncle... mind u this is about 11:00 at night.. and we get to a sand baggign site that has a spider machien that fills 12 sand bags in 10 seconds. this thing really works. we whipped out andother 3 truck boxes, 2 flat bed car hauler trailers, and a 46 foot goose neck trailer in 1.5 hours. now its 3am here and im whopped and ready for bed..

here are soem of the pics.. i got to get the others off my uncles camera.

in from another night of sand baggign with family and friends.. thanks rob for coming and helping us fill another truck and car trailer full. even after that we stayed and helped another couple fill their trailer and 5 other random ppls trucks b4 we called it a night.

today i spent most of the day helping my aunt and uncle box everything up in their house and get ready to move the stuff out. pretty tired.. but somehow keep on going. not sure where im getting all this energy from. lol

will have another report tomorrow hopefully with some of the pics that i took today.
