I have an M7. I am running with D&D y pipe, and Can. I just got new reeds in the mail the other day (havn't put them on yet). As it stands, I love the sound of it. It's got a loud low deep rumble. And it runs awesome. As with the pipe, you can go with a lite pipe without using the boondocker, but if you go with a monster, you will need the boondocker.

I have heard other M7's with the sno-stuff rumble pack, and it is really loud, but more high pitch, almost like a stinger.

Mark...whenever i try to reply to ya via pm etc it says not sent..so just in case i will do it here...let me know if the others went

you should really just consider that new boss nitrous system...40 to 6o hp for 800 bucks...no controller needed..no tanks of race gas mixed because the new system has a little bottle you fill with race gas that lasts a bottle or two of nitrous....there is a video on it..i think if you go to firstplace parts web site they have it or go to boss web site...i would not do reeds and if i did it would be boyeson rage cage..if i went with pipes i would do jaws twins with twin stingers..and yes you would need a box..i would go with attitude or pure logic..you can get egts later if you want or a/f guage...you could get the bungs welded in when you order pipes..and just plug them till you get the guage...remember you get the sled to a safe fuel map with plug reading and or a/f guage..the egt temp is only good to you after you know you are not going to lean burn down..but that new boss nitrous is very very very safe instatanious ardrenaline hitting horsepower for very reasonable cost..

First I think we need to clear up that a single pipe for the M7 doesn't offer much if any improvement. You need to go with twins if you want more performance. All twins are going to require tuning and fiddling with temp and alt changes.

I personally wouldn't go the nitrous route. My buddy has it and never uses it because of the added expense to fill the tank every ride. It is also only a temporary power fix. Then you often run into issues with clutching when you hit the button and ad 40+ hp that you aren't set up for. I have seen it in action and the power is pretty abrupt, better be ready when you hit the button.

Spend the money, do the RKT 800 kit, 160 hp on a stock pipe and can, not tuner box required. That is 2010 M8 power. With a single you are over 170 hp and twins 180+ hp.

What all is involved in the RKT 800 kit? And what is the cost?

They bore and port your cylinders. Then you use stock 800 Cat pistons. The kit also includes their head.

It isn't cheap, but it is cheaper than a new sled:) I just happen to have a clean M7 in great shape. This summer will be a perfect time to make it into a quiet, stock appearing 160hp sleeper. Combined with a power claw track it should easily run with a new M8 for half the money.
