Best Mods For The Sidewinder

I know there is a great deal of information on different builds that folks have done. Some of the threads are a couple of years old now.
​ I am looking at purchasing a winder and just looking for information on what works best for setting them up. Tunes, pipes, suspension, steering, clutching etc. it will either be a 17 or 18 mtx 162. The 2019"s seem to be like unicorns. Impossible to find.

I have a 17 King Cat (same as 18 Winder except for clutches). Skid plate is a MUST with D&R chaincase, various flashes available, tether is a must have. On mine I have tunnel bracing, front bumper, Evo’s stage 4 flash, B&M fab boards, CAI& muffler. Love the sled, working on fine tuning the clutching this season. Personally, I’m running a vertical post from the Viper as I prefer the positioning, but to each their own

MCX, Precision EFI or Hurricane. They are the only ones that I know test at elevation.

Central Sled in Wetaskiwin is set up to do the Hurricane flash if you need someone locally.

Central sled also has a really nice low mile 2017 mtx 162 that was traded in by a new rider that didn’t know what he was getting himself into. I think it only has 200-300km on it.

i prefer to purchase local ( Canadian Made) if and when possible. Anyone running the stage 3M tune from precision EFI?

Central doesn’t keep their website that up to date. It’s like new. You won’t be disappointed.

Do you know what they sold it for and do you know what the price of the leftover one is the owner wasn’t there today so the guy couldn’t give me any info on pricing so I’m just curious
