Best deal on a long block 800etec?

I dont think so, I guess ive always lucked out and got cylinders and pistons when i ordered the last 27 shortblocks LOL

Skegpro should be able to get what he needs from you, you never have or have seen any engine failures with Skeedoo yet you buy shortblocks like candy. You are also able to get an engine overnight anytime you want by your earlier posts, why would you ever need such service when by your own informative posts you state over and over that Skeedoo,s are the most reliable sled to ever hit the snow ?

Ive replaced alot of engines over the 5000km mark. I think thats quite reliable for a 2 stroke mountain sled. I used to Run a skidoo repair shop as a side business so ive changed a few engines in my day. Where i ride the locals log alot of miles so changing an engine on a satuday night isnt out of the normal. I dont think ive ever said i havent seen a skidoo Engine go down. Thats just not true. Just not in my group since 2008 in the origional XP

i am not a dealer. i cant get skegpro what he needs, i am stating that he needs a shortblock, not a long block, and that dealers have them in stock. Just trying to get the facts straight

Skegpro where are you from? I have a complete engine still in a 14 that I could let go. Sled still runs and rides. Motor had apparently 1200
Km on it.

Shortblock, If you call a dealer it would be close to that price. long block would be 5000+. That could also be brand new not remanufactuered

Just got off the phone with Martin's the term short block must be a term lost in French translation.
Parts guy said no such thing as a long block......
So the term engine probably would be more applicable in this case.

Engines come with jugs, pistons ect.
Just move over water pump, rave valves ect.

noi meant you used to be able to order with head, reeds,boots,oil pump, stator (long block). Guess not anymore

Check CV tech.com they specialize in short blocks for all brand of sleds and I belive u can buy direct ... Hope this helps
