Quad tires are like 18 yr olds..............
Can never have enough rubbers to play in all types of terrain.

Ya ya, I asked about the Silverbacks, but the shop guy was really pushing the Reptiles for trail/mountain riding. If the reps don't work out this season, I'll start shopping again next year. Now I just have to get out there to test them out!

Dont ask the guy behind the counter. Ask the only guy that didn't get stuck.

That should be a Sticky on here !!!

Short story: first bike I truly modded (many bikes ago), a 06 brute.
Let "counter guy" have full say....
Crappy results & huge $$$$
Redid it totally......more $$ wicked results
It ripped, still goin strong.....!!!

Do your OWN research....!!!
Counter guys know 2 things .....
Cost price & retail price ••••••••

All good intel guys, thanks! I knew this was gonna be an expensive hobby/habit when I got the thing. Wild1, I thought you not getting stuck was a result of your superior riding skills, not your tires :p Now we just have to get out there to see what these Reptiles can do!

Heading out tomorrow on the dirt bike. I might do the same area, just further north. Not sure yet.

Just to add some first hand info to this thread.....
Just took the 30x10 silverback lights of the xmr (sold) and mounted them on the wildcat. I was very impressed with the tires on the xmr. Very good for a light duty mud tire. A little rough on the quad, but quite manageable....

Now on the wildcat wow !! Tough enough , light , measure true and a tough sidewall. And these tires eat !!!
Yet not heavy at all , compared to a full on true 30 + mud tire....

In other words a nice balance of weight , traction, and the right amount of slippage as to not destroy $$$ on your ride...
In other words one of the better sxs tires I have tried yet....
For a heavy mud/ trail mix.....

So talk to Kevin at rapid, great tires @ an affordable price

I'm on nights the rest of this week, so I'll have to wait till the weekend. Back on mornings next week though, and will have way more time for riding.
