I am ok with inflated pricing, took a beating for so many years its catch up time. It will be soon enough it will be back to how it was

If it don't people will just revert to very "Hot" deals.

Why would someone sell something below market value to a stranger?

Well , I went outside the box again... going to pick up the Nextdoor neighbors 650 outlander. It was to good a deal to pass up , lots of extras ( boxes , winch, lights ect) . 2018 with 4xx km and pretty much show room condition and unmodified except for lights and boxes. Not a can am fan but I figure if I don’t like it I can easily l get my money back and then some. Known the quad since new to so that helps and it hasn’t been beat on or left outside ever. He bought it new used it for a year then got one of those lfad deals ( electric heart) and after that it never left his acreage just plowing and going around our subdivision.

Really wanted to try a grizzly or kingquad but I don’t think now is the time to buy new . Dealers are just trying to gouge you for every last cent they can . Looking at almost probably $17k with box and winch for a Suzuki camo and not 15500 for a grizzly ( regular ) . I can’t put myself up to pay that much .

Those prices are crazy. I just bought a 2022 Brute EPS of my wife and paid $12,099, normal suggested retail. The only thing on the invoice to have gone up drasticly was the shipping price, more than doubled since I bought my 2020. I wouldn't have bought Kawi's if the dealer wasn't so good. Fast Trax has been really good.

+ 700 for a winch + 2 hrs labour @130hr + 80 for the mount +300 at least for a box . It’s about 14500 by the time you leave.

Yeah so basically full msrp, won't find anyone selling anything new for less than MSRP lately especially in SK.

Yeah usually a guy can get into a model year old with a free winch and talk them down on the price a bit . Not this year, can am even has a $400 sir charge on top. I mean it’s all reliant I sold my bf for more than I paid new for it 2 years ago .

Wow thats a lot of money for a winch and 2 hrs to install, for 700bucks they can install for free. I put a 3500lb moose winch with mount on for 450bucks on my quad, and I am trying a cheaper winch on the wifes quad Tyrannosaurus with mount was just under 300bucks (time will tell on this one lol). I installed the winches myself and it doesn't take that long to do.

I bet the can am 650 has as much or more power as the ones you wanted.

I've owned a kingquad, a brute and an outlander and the nice thing about the KQ (and grizzly) if you're cruising with the family or using it for work is the wet clutch compared to the belt slammer on the v twin engines.

Yeah I think the Japanese bikes or cars even are a superior vehicle reliability wise / build quality . That 650 has 10 more horsepower than the grizzly/ brute force or kingquad from what I read . 62 hp , the others have right around 50 which is irrelevant to but whatever. Don’t have to dip into the savings now that’s always good. But I looked it over tonight and it’s pretty much new condition as one would expect with 420km on it and lived in a heated garage year round . Drove absolutely fantastic, never drove one before and it was impressive just the steering/ ride quality blows the others away . Hopefully it’s not a sack of you know what because I have zero experience with can am . Time will tell I guess but I’ll get a few pictures up tomorrow after I pick it up and clear up that matter of paying for it 🥲

Thanks I like it so far . I would have never considered can am but it’s a nice quad . I always thought of them as mud quads or hot rods of quads .
