Glen, I'll come to the shop with Summitric and show/tell you what type of brackets I made for my 06 Rev. Had a 3/4" bend and a crack in my nun. Straightened it out and it cracked the top flange and part of the nun so I had a shop bend a "C" channel from 1/8" aluminum and I then cut it to match the nun from chain case to front suspension bracket. Six 1/4" bolts to hold it in place, no pop rivets. New owner hit a rock and bent the a-arms but not the c-channel on the nun. Fixed the weak point on the Rev and it is easy to do. Matt won't be around for about a week or I would take a pic and post.

lets see those pis of what you did

my rev was bent like yours is now i had a few good impacts to the front end. i rode it for two seasons like that with no problems i did have to straighten it a few times and change some a arms. the bulkhead allways had a bend in it though. i finaly hit a realy big rock realy hard and totalled it so i have to rebuild the whole front end and attempt to straighten and reinforce it or just part it out (have to check the damage). as long as clutch alignment is decent do what you can and dont wory about it to much.
theres lots of bent sleds ripping around here years safter they have been hit some more than once.

here are the aftermarket brass ones.

they are about 90$ compared to 30.

dooryder, did not meet up with my old sled for a pic so here is a sketch of the "C" channel I had made. Cut to fit tight between chain case and front of nun/body panels. I used a 1.5" drill bit to cope out the back of the angle where there are factory rivets throgh the nun so the channel fits tight, don't drill all the way through the channel in these locations. Drill through for both bolts at the chain case and take the nuts off to bolt on the channel. I used 6 more 1/4" diameter bolts through the nun and channel to hold them together. My nun was cracked in two places and Matt is still driving it and no issues. This saves you from replacing a badly bent or broken nun. Show this to your dad and if the two of you can't figure out my sketch PM me and I will give you my phone number and try to explain it to you. Hope it helps/saves cash.:d:d Good thing I didn't use an old wrinkled piece of paper to draw on!!!!:d:d:d

I forgot, you will need washers as a spacer between the nun and the channel on the bottom half of the channel when bolting it all together as the nun is doubled at the top with a small angle. The channel I made was from T6061 aluminum-regular stuff. You can make this at school if they have a metal brake, if not I'm sure CN's shop can make this on a weekend. I am going from memory from two years ago but I don't think I missed anything. Good luck fixin!!:d

update, well i almost got it all straite a little more pounding and it will be good, then i need to brace, i think im going to use snochucks idea for the bracing, need to find some alluminum now, but on a side not, i was wondering if any body has clutch tools for the rev that i could borrow, like a spring compressure and a puller for the primary, thanks in advance

and actually the spring compressor you can make yourself. just get 2 big washers and 2 bolts and some 5/8 threaded rod. that will work for both clutches.

then u just need some button holders. i have a set u can have. and the puller bolt
