bent bulk head

so on my 06 rev i have a slight bow in the right side of my bulkhead behind the can but everything else seems strait im gunna bring it into the shop tomorrow so i can have a better look. but also my left hand side panel is a bit tough to close like it got lowered 3/4 of inch, what else may have gotten bent?

Hey. the bulk head meaning the Front section before the motor, or where the motor sits on, or benind it.. theres lots of piceces it can be..........



if that part is broken, i just looked on the parts fiche online and its from the motor back is a complete tunnel. so like 1900$ or more.

the nun is bent not a fun job need to pull everything off and cut the rivits too much work... i bent my this year already i think i am just going to try pull it striaght and see what happens

well Marko is a hard guy to get a hold of these days ,could I pull it strait while it's still on the sled?? and how ??

Just leave it bent brad...... No point if its ok.. Will just make it weaker bending that back.. So leave it bent.. We have one in the shop and he is just leaving it bent..

If the muffler side is bent-the frame and front cross member need to be replaced to be done properly. But in the mean time-better bring a few belts cause now the alighment is gonna be out.

well heres the pics of the bent bulk :( and thats the only thing i could find bent, so how hard would this be to replace?

ok so that is your nun and if you want to replace it you need to strip everything motor and all plastic... that shouldnt affect your belt just for the fact that it didnt affect mine when i went hit the stump lastyear and the creek if landed in this year

300 for the nun ... try to stretch it ... tie down the back so it doesnt move and the put a big rachet strap on the spindal and try pull it straight i plan to do this for i do not want to pull everything apart to put a new one in i would say a long weekend to do this

Replaced mine on the rt 1000 and it isn't that big of a job now. probably 8 hrs as long as you have all the parts there. I never had to take the motor out to replace the nun?:d:beer::beer:
