Have you ever been banned from CT.. yesterday i bought a 3100 psi pressure washer . today i went to use it and damm near pulled my arm off trying to start it . after about an hour farting with this POS , i took it back . i was going to trade it straight across ( same $$$ ) for a machine with 200 less psi .. then the manager showed up and asked if there was gas in it  i said how the hell do i know if it works if i don't fuel it up , take my word for it lady , it doe's not run !!!!! she says the store will not take it back if theres fuel in it . i said , do you not change oil and batteries here ? she says yes , so you take the fuel out i said .... i cant do that she says ... well guess what lady ? now i dont even want the new one , just my F%^&*()_G money back .. she says i cant do that and that should watch my language, i say... then you better find someone with some balls that can . that got her pouting and she caved in .. then she tells me that my name has been flagged in the computer , and the store will no longer sell me anything with an engine on it . WTF.. and she thinks i should not come back to ( "HER" ) store . i said i was sorry that she felt this way , and said i don't give a shyt and have a nice f^&*()ing week end . THATS MY

on the bright side .... i have $600 burning a hole in my pocket

Ha ha ha .........I think you should just go buy some material out of that 600 bucks amd fab me up a nice gate...... i think a little welding and hammering should calm ya down a bit..........that's a good story though.....i'm serious about the gate though i've seen your work.

thanks fat tire ........... road bans are coming on strong now , and pipe line is slowing down a bit... so i might have some time , draw up a picture , you don't have to be an artist , and some measurement's... and i'll see what i can do

Powerfist from Princess is the same. They pressure up if you don't hold the trigger open.

i don't have the chickensh*t canadian tire washer but my overpriced machine pressures up first pull and you have to hold the trigger on to start.
Not just the cheap ones:beer:

I've seen people get the same treatment with lawn mowers.
I bought a generator for CT a few years ago. Took it home put some gas in it and the oil and fired it up. Way too loud to use for camping so I took it back.
Didn't have a problem. Lucky I guess.

What most people forget to do is run a little oil in the pressure washer before they store them or keep some antifreeze or winter washer fluid in them. The check valves or ball glue themselves to the seat. Once that happens they can't get any water and they over heat(Used to be a pressure washer mechanic in a former life) but really you get what you pay for.

not stored ..... bought yesterday

Had a generator from princess auto crap out, for warranty work they refused it with gas in it said bring it back empty. Policy of a lot of places, and not the managers fault.

Might suck but nothing they can do about it, and their shop is for vehicles can't expect them to touch something like that.

I had a issue about a month ago with Crappy tire cash, now that is a joke also. I try to stay away from that store.

Doesn't matter, they can't sell it with gas in it, nor would they want it in their store with gas is my point.

It takes longer to argue with them over it then it does to drain the gas.

Now what would have been good for a chuckle, was to drag the washer just outside the doors where she could still see you, and dump'er upside down and drain the gas on the side walk, then bring it back in and tell her that it no longer has any gas in it, as per her instructions. :d

I bought a pressure washer from Costco three years ago, It is a honda engine with a karcher pump, Other than the fuel bowl filling up with water once (probably my fault, old gas) it has run excellent. and it only cost me about 400$ bucks.

i love canadian tire , most of the people that work there are nice and helpful , some are morons who think they are better then you but i walk up and and ask for my parts or whatever and if they dont give good service i say (out loudly) "can you get someone HELPFUL to serve me please?" and they quickly get what you want............

but towards your story........

if you had your bill and your stuff together their should be no problem in getting your money back , but when a customer comes into timmies cursing and swearing and screaming at me it doesn't make me wanna help them in anyway.........

I'm the same way, you can get a lot further this day and age being courteous to people. If you dropped $600 for a pressure washer just to clean your toys and quads. It didn't work? They weren't going to give you anything? You would just be like "Okay have a nice day" Hit up Princess Auto and buy another one. Fawk that man. $600 is $600, thats a weekend of sledding if I don't break anything.

You have a lot of bark for a little pup.

You have to put each other in both shoes, if the manager was telling me I couldn't get my money back from buying something that's broken? That's fawked man.

With every story, their's his side, her side and what really happened. Buddies just looking to vent and see if anybody goes through this day to day bullch!t like he does.
