Have you ever been banned from CT.. yesterday i bought a 3100 psi pressure washer . today i went to use it and damm near pulled my arm off trying to start it . after about an hour farting with this POS , i took it back . i was going to trade it straight across ( same $$$ ) for a machine with 200 less psi .. then the manager showed up and asked if there was gas in it  i said how the hell do i know if it works if i don't fuel it up , take my word for it lady , it doe's not run !!!!! she says the store will not take it back if theres fuel in it . i said , do you not change oil and batteries here ? she says yes , so you take the fuel out i said .... i cant do that she says ... well guess what lady ? now i dont even want the new one , just my F%^&*()_G money back .. she says i cant do that and that should watch my language, i say... then you better find someone with some balls that can . that got her pouting and she caved in .. then she tells me that my name has been flagged in the computer , and the store will no longer sell me anything with an engine on it . WTF.. and she thinks i should not come back to ( "HER" ) store . i said i was sorry that she felt this way , and said i don't give a shyt and have a nice f^&*()ing week end . THATS MY

on the bright side .... i have $600 burning a hole in my pocket

I bought a pressure washer from them a couple years ago, and worked fine but the second year no pressure and wouldn't spray. the problem is your you think your buying a good quality washer because it has a honda or briggs and straton engine on it but they have cheap azz pumps underneath from china which fail. i took the pump apart and found these little plastic spring loaded valves which apparently will melt if you fire the motor up without the water hooked up. finally found the parts online and ordered them, like 20 for the parts and 30 for shipping. went to a pressure washer shop and they said to never buy those washers with the pumps underneath, the ones with the pumps on the side you can rebuild.

People actually fire up pressure washers without water hooked up? I though that was common knowledge.

Blah Blah Blah...

I don't have a dog in this fight, but if you got "Red Flagged" and "Banned" from Canadian Tire, maybe you're the one that has a problem.

I hate seeing these "Tough" guys rip on a cashier and make her cry, it's not her fault. I'm not saying you did it but it happens a lot.

You want top of the line service and equipment, pay for it ! F off "Big spender"

Princess auto has a great selection of washers, $500-1200 ish you get what you pay for and by the way PSI is not the most important thing it is GPM or gallons per minute huge difference between 2 and 3 GPM I have a 4GPM now and it is a beast, if they had one with a turbo I would have got that one, saves a huge amount of time with larger unit.

Bought a Powerfist from Princess Auto about 10 years ago. It's got a Honda motor and is a 3000 psi model. Never missed a beat. :)

What most people forget to do is run a little oil in the pressure washer before they store them or keep some antifreeze or winter washer fluid in them. The check valves or ball glue themselves to the seat. Once that happens they can't get any water and they over heat(Used to be a pressure washer mechanic in a former life) but really you get what you pay for.

i have the same pressure washer from cambodian tire ,and it will not start unless you hold the wand trigger open as the first pull pressures up the hose and will not fire ,even thoughyou can still pull over:beer:

Powerfist from Princess is the same. They pressure up if you don't hold the trigger open.
