You cats are really that paranoid?

Damn shame.

You know how I avoid home invasions? Firstly, live in Canada. Secondly, don't keep an ounce of cocaine in your house. Anything else I own likely isnt worth a confrontation, and if they want it, they will come when I'm gone.

What if they are looking for your neighbor the coke dealer and are too whacked out of their heads and get the wrong house?? Better safe than sorry.

Just checking your meter. lol

Here is what happens when you get your wish imdoo'n Wars and casualties of the 20th Century

please explain to me why this has anything to do with this thread, this is war, civil war , and government genocide numbers. how would you with one gun make a dent in this. and besides for your info these weapons are already next to impossible to own, should really reduce the numbers right.

Governments tend not commit mass murders when their population is fully armed. They fear there will be reprisals and they are right, disarm all the people in the world and we are in big trouble....safer.... no way just the opposite. I would feel much safer if you own a firearm than one army person taking orders from some prick. My wish is everyone on this forum to own at least two automatic weapons.

well ya can never know, we seem to be doing alright here but ya can never tell. i'm thinkin restrictions are warranted, and a psycology test should be implemented, with a possible cooling off period. i'm hoping you wouldn't have a killing spree start. the shoot first and ask questions later crowd would like it. i've starred down a barrel with a loon behind it, no idea how it would have turned out if we were allowed to carry guns. anyway i don't see canadian laws changing soon. usa has a huge problem, guns may or maynot be the solution.

There will be the odd loony for sure. But not enough to make up for 60 million massacre that has taken place so far. Henry kissinger war criminal or just plain old fashion mass murderer, you decide. He or someone just like him will be calling the shots on the next mass culling. Rothschilds believe the world is overpopulated and must get down to 800 million quickly.... what does that mean?

You already have to take a gun safety training course, and go through a thorough RCMP background check to get an aquisition license before you can buy a firearm in Canada. Is that not good enough for you? I just did a supposedly routine renewal of my posession license, which does not allow me to purchase a firearm or posess a restricted firearm, and I got no less that 3 calls from the RCMP with further questions before it was approved. What else is it you would suggest they do?

And the Rpal is even more. I have no records. Not even a speeding ticket for years and still put through the ringer. Pretty strict here which is fine for me. But the criminals aren't going to make it legal

And for those who have x wifes, forget it, she has to approve of it...ha ha ya right. So dam hard to get but try and use it for picture id. Hell the owner of a gun gets time in jail even if someone else uses his gun's in a crime. Way too many rules in place already. If you want to kill someone use a car, they refer to it as an accident.

looks like that is for long guns, and by the sounds of it there are a few more steps for handguns and automatics. if ya can get one. finding out the point is really mute in canada, but the usa has a problem of there. own. and for now i will leave it in there hands. sure seems like alot of angry gun toten owners on the site, just what we need angry people with guns,

The whole gun control bureaucracy in Canada is a great big phucking fiasco.

The only people it has controlled are the honest ones. The criminals will always get the guns no matter what the rules are. A lot of friggin' money spent and the gangs and thieves still have as many guns! Go figure......

The friggin' red tape a rancher has to go through to kill a cow with a broken leg is ridiculous and the "big city" people (I have to be careful when I use those terms on this forum) don't even want long gun control lessened.

End of rant and what a waste of time.......IMHO

not sure there is anyway of preventing crimes with guns. all i can say my experience tells me there are people out there that need to give there head a shake. and if one clown can't get a gun to bad i'm all for it. can't see crime going away unless there is a fitting punishment. the idea with gun control is to get guns out of the hands of a few angry out of control loons. those that can prove they can handle a gun responsibly should have no problem.
