Target practice, Action sporting games like IDPA, IPSC etc. List goes on. As for semi-auto rifles Canada limits us to 5 rnds so sorry, your herd of deer idea probably won't work. Automatic guns in Canada have been regulated to the point of being restricted to the back corner of the safe with few people having a license to own one let alone take it out of the house.

What's the purpose of OHV's with big lugged tires? Is it only to chew up the backcountry?

ok, how many shots do you need to hit a target? i can see a bolt action if ya need it, but semi auto or full auto, are u sure your hunting? may as well use a 50 cal, although there may not be much to haul back to the truck.

I'll have to assume you are bored on a Monday and doing a little phishing?

As I said full auto is all but not existent for civilians in Canada.
If somone wants to hunt with a semi, more power to them. If they can afford a .50, who cares??

i get a kick out of the clowns who ride the friggin quad to the top of a hill and just sit and wait for something to cross the clearing, must be the thrill of the chase so to speak? i wouldn't call that hunting, more like target practice

can you classify driving a pickup down a road as hunting, i can't see the thrill, couldn't really call it hunting, more a drive by shooting i'm thinkin.

don't get me wrong, i have no problem with hunting, only i think it is more for the experience, than spraying lead all over till something falls down.

Not sure, but even that broad you have a wide on for couldn't chase down a deer. Maybe it's better to wait for them?

Here is an interesting write up to which I agree with. Hunting guns..... no problem but assault rifles get rid of them. Just my 2cents worth

Jason Alexander on Aurora

Because bans work to fix stuff?
Please explain how banning an inanimate object would solve the violence in places like TO?
Criminals by definition don't follow laws so suddenly a magic new law will make them stop?? Our laws surrounding semi auto firearms are already draconian but only the law abiding owners seem to follow them?
FYI assault rifles be definition have selective fire and are already all but illegal except for a few collectors, museums etc.
