Heading out Thursday night for the Secure Energy ride this weekend. Gonna be hitting Renshaw Friday and Saturday.:D
Anybody that spots Snowseeker at the Grizz this weekend be sure to buy him a drink. He's heading out for his birthday weekend ride, and we are out at Terracana this time; so I am gonna miss out on the great time we always have with Rosanna and the girls at the Grizz. Happy Birthday ya old bugger!!!

I'd like to say a huge thanks to the groomer. We were there all Easter Weekend and out of the last 12 yrs I've been going to Renshaw the trail was the best ever this last weekend. Great job Groomer guy. And I love all the little speed bumps you put in, it seems to help with it not being so moguled out...

Thanks Again!!

Socked in and snowing today. Temps just under freezing mark and no wind. Our guests had a blast Thursday at Spirit Lake and Weinberger's bowl. Trail is holding up pretty well and this snow will help out.

Rode yesterday Renshaw. Trail was in good shape and 4-5 inches of snow in Winebergers but really it is spring riding conditions. Sunburn day.

Sure will Highmark, rode Renshaw Saturday and for some reason creeks seemed to be our place for the day on our way up we met a couple guys that needed our help, then out to Spirit where we passed a broke Pro, which i immediately recognized. Over at spirit for a couple hours then a whiteout moved in and on our way back Ran into Highmark10 and Sledtillded and crew working on getting the Pro out!!! Lets just say they passed Hotrod on the trail at 1:00am. Nuff Said!!! LOL! Higgins.

It was good to run into you and your group Higgins. Too bad it was in a White Out and we had a Pro on the hook Lol . I have to elaborate on our 19 hour ordeal Higgins and HighMark10 are talking about.
We rode Renshaw Friday went through the Anthills and onto Spirit. The trail is typical for this time of year and the farther back we went the better the snow got. We managed to Ride till 2pm and have a ton of fun .......and then one of the Pros went down. We managed to drag it from above Spirit with 2 sleds to the massive hill before the Stair case but that took us till about 9pm since we could not get it up after numerous attempts and a few crashes we left it. Saturday was all about gathering tools and equipment IE: 1200 ft of climbing rope and a pulley, installing a HD bumper on the 13 XM. We got back to the sled at 2 pm and after more crashes a rope winch attempt and some dents and broken plastic we turned the Pro skis around and mounted it to the back of the XM put the other Pro on a rope in front pulling the XM and finally got the Beotch 3/4 of the way up and pulled it up the last 30 meters BY HAND !
By the time we got it up the staircase (wormhole) it was around 10:30 pm and was snowing hard and starting to white out We rode to the bottom of the Saddle and did not even know we were there, at this point you could not see your hand in Front of your face We went through the Ant hills down a steep drainage and Finally onto the Main Trail. but not before hooking a tree with the Broken Pro and flipping it side ways into the tree and wedging it between the seat and gas rack .......BRUTAL
it was 12:00AM
We met Rod Grooming the trail @ 10k and got to the trucks at 2am exhausted and SOAKED.
We have to send a big THANK YOU ! Out to Glengine and Steve for all the assistance and also Higgins please send Rod a big THANKS for what he does out on the trail night after night grooming (6 hours return) its a thankless Job and believe me seeing him at 1am was a sight for VERY sore eyes.
Cheers !

About two inches of snow on my hot tub this morning (before melting). Still snowing at higher elevations with no wind to speak of. Friday, Saturday and Sunday forecast is for periods of light snow. Sun comes out Monday/Tuesday.

Back up for my last ride and decided to head into an old favorite and it was the right choice! Decent sun and very decent snow made for a great spring ride, had a blast! Higgins.

Rode renshaw yesterday and about 2' of fresh at the first lake. Not really wind blown at all but the few drifts were really soft and yes there was a small rock in one that was firmly attached to the mountain but all parts survived. Half sun and half total white out but awsome snow and powder till late afternoon then snow got a bit heavy. Wicked trying to get throgh saddle in total fog in early morning but was worth when sun came out on the back side. Did not pack enough gas for the longer day....mooched off of brother and warning light still came on at KM16. If forecast right will be lots of fresh on weekend. Still snow from booth so no beating up sleds yet. Met about 40 trailers and decks as we were heading home so lots heading out for the weekend last night. Should be awsome weekend coming up and still grooming in mid April!!
