Up Renshaw today and like Snochuk said the snow was very good! Way better than last weekend, but sun was only around for about 1hr. But made the loop and had a great time. Higgins.

Well the season for me ends on a good note! Into Renshaw thru the Ant Hills then bucked her to Spirit lake, excellent snow for mid April. Very little sun and still quite cold in the alpine (-10), kept the snow crisp. A good weekend, actually a good season!! See ya next winter, ride safe! Higgins.

The pictures posted by J. C. Higgins are from this past weekend and show exactly what the conditions are like. You can still ride from the trail head on all three managed trails. Renshaw and Lucille were both groomed Sunday evening. Not many riders up Belle so it is still good to go. There was some fresh snow Saturday and Sunday and it has stayed pretty cool, so I think you will be okay later this week. A bit cloudy and cool again this morning with no wind. I will post if there are any changes either way.

Was up renshaw Friday and Saturday. Great snow had a blast! Caught the groomer on the way down both nights as well so made for a great ride on the trail. Here is a pic on the second tier of the first parking lot. You only have to ride through a limited amount of mud.

Nothing new to report. Still grooming Renshaw and Lucille as of today. Grooming for Belle is done for the season, but trail is good. Its supposed to snow at higher elevations tonight, tomorrow and Friday. Still riding from the trailheads. Higgys pictures show the snow conditions perfectly, and I dont think anything has changed.

home today. going up Sunday for a ride. Renshaw is being groomed tonite so the riders tomorrow will get a nice ride up. snowing up top as of an hour ago.

Rode Renshaw Saturday. Trail up was groomed and in good shape, ride down with warm weather was choppy, as should be expected.
We found lots of good snow, powder is diminishing but tons of untouched.

Very little loose snow left in Renshaw today. Not parking lot hard yet, but close. Pretty solid in the trees, too.

Hey everyone, some friends and I are planning on heading up on the weekend for a ride. Never riden this late in the year before but we can't resist one more ride! We are trying to decide between Mcbride and Valemount. Just wondering what you guys think the conditions will be looking like for the weekend? and Has everyone still been riding from the main parking lot or staging further up the trail? Thanks

If you leave from parking lot at renshaw you will being riding 2-3 km of dirt. If you have a deck you will be better off going around and up the trail a bit. Last weekend snow started just past trail pass booth. Riding was still great up top though..
