Hey everyone, some friends and I are planning on heading up on the weekend for a ride. Never riden this late in the year before but we can't resist one more ride! We are trying to decide between Mcbride and Valemount. Just wondering what you guys think the conditions will be looking like for the weekend? and Has everyone still been riding from the main parking lot or staging further up the trail? Thanks
parking just past the collection shack, only patchy gravel after that in a few spots. good snow up top. snowed last nite up high.

Thanks for the info. We rode Renshaw on Saturday. As mentioned the snow started in patches just after the collection shack. It was snowing hard all day so the visibility was low but the snow was great!

snowed most of the day in town and snowline has moved down the hills along way. will be riding this weekend and will post some pic's when done, nothing better than a May ride in the sun with fresh snow, cold beer and friends to share with.

I was talking to Barry and the gates to Renshaw will be open this coming weekend and most likely the 11th and 12 of May and then will probably close and there will then be no access to the Renshaw area.
as long as we don't damage the road and don't go past 2km everything will be good.

Rode Lucille this past weekend. snow was awesome in the butterfly and larvae. Sunday there was well over 2 feet of fresh in the very back bowls. The trail was good. Unloaded in the parking lot and skipped over a few bare spots within the first km. Enjoy! Jason

Just wondering if its still worth coming up to renshaw, Lucille, or bell from Edmonton may long weekend this month. How much snow is still on the trail? Hoping to make it up once more this year. Let me know which one is probable best this time of year.
