Used to be from Manitoba. Left in 89. Tons of Red River riding in those days on my SRX SRV & Trail Twisters. Libau, East Selkirk etc., Skeeters there were small compared to the NWT. One landed at the airport & dude tried to refuel it.

I was born and raised in the southend of Winnipeg, but left in 94' for the boom in Alberta, and wouldn't consider moving back now. The only things I go back for now are catfishing at Lockport and a fat boy hamburger at VJ's. Oh yeah, perogies and rye bread.

Hello all... New to the site.. Heading to revelstoke is the way to go, Im leaving in 2 weeks.. Anyone heard how the snow is out there? Just get to know the locals and there is always deep snow to play in! Crows nest is good, but he's right... its worth the extra drive to revy.. If you really want to burn some gas go to Mekenzie.. Wild snow and lots of it!! Cant sled in MB no more... Need to save the $$ for the BC goodness.

Yup, Winnipeg. Grew up riding in the SE (lake-o-woods, and Spruce Woods).

just showed up in Edmonton and am looking for a riding group that heads to the mtns once in a while.

We have about 4 or so inches in Brandon. I believe that there is a little bit more in the peg. Most poeple are riding anyways cuz we are tired of waiting. Colder than a witches %$# right now, -28 with wind its -42. I will be riding the couch this weekend.

Was out riding in the Whiteshell this weekend. Things are still pretty bumpy but the lakes are fine. Not a whole lot of snow yet (4 or 5 inches), smaller lakes have been frozen since Nov 11th. Usually have had good rigding around x-mas though. Here's a picture at one of our scenic lookouts.

Fellow Toban residing in Winnipeg . My wife and kids enjoy our arctic cats on Manitoba trails mostly in the east. I will be in Revelstoke at the end of Feb. for the second time in the last twelve months. I hope snow sticks around for the next 8 weeks as it is far too soon for winter to end! Too bad it is raining like hell today.

Cheers!
