I had a great time riding the new Pro RMK. It handles really nice and it was pretty to easy to flick around the 155 and 163. I have a 151 and wanted to try a 163 to see how much of a difference it would be.
Seemed like just a little more effort than the 155 for throwing around. Both climbed really well but the 163 motored up the hills easily. I could get into trouble with the 163 because it felt like it could go on and on. Definitely didn't lack any power for me. My only issues were - it felt like the running boards were a lot narrower than my 900, every now and then I would end up stepping on that support hoop that runs above the footwell and I love having the switches for lights and heaters where I can flick them while I'm riding, the Pro has them on the console. Minor things.
The reps from Polaris were great. Tracy and Les were easy to talk to and seemed to just want honest opinions. Kind of surprised they only have 1 mountain stop on their tour.
They hired a local guy to take us up to a few different areas to test the sleds. Brad was fun to ride with. It was a good mix of terrain. Nothing crazy since we had a bit of a time constraint and visibility wasn't great.
The Pro RMK is at the top of my list for my next sled right now. I'm hoping to catch demo rides with Cat and Yamaha as well.
I lost my Drift HD170 up at Blue Lake on Saturday. That was the only bad part of my weekend. Well... that and the fact that my 900 isn't as light as the Pro's. I'd ask anyone heading up there to keep an eye out for it (I have a good idea where I lost with GPS coords) but it was snowing pretty good later in the day.
