If this is the first time you have experienced this, it is probably temporary assuming the symptoms disappeared when you got home. As mentioned, sounds like the flu. Go to your doc if the problems come up again. I suggest gravol is not a good plan if you are driving anything. Good luck

Maybe your allergic to sledding and should just call it quits. Have never ever heard of altitude sickness at 1500ft before. And if you do have the flu DON'T go see your doc, DON'T go anywhere that might have the chance of spreading your infectious disease. Stay home and drink plenty of fluids and rest. Although it is sunday and im sure there are several people feeling that way today, lay off the vodka cranberry the night before.

Was it very foggy? Maybe motion sickness. I have had that before in the fog. Were you following a bunch of sleds up that trail? Maybe carbon monoxide poisoning? Thats all I think it could be if its not the flu?

I assume it was foggy when you went up? If so then it was motion sickness. Your body is moving at a pretty good speed but your eyes can't see the speed you are moving because of the fog. You probably get motion sickness on the open ocean too?

Take some gravol and you will be fine. Been there done that.

Motion sickness, happens to me on socked in days as well. Pop a gravel next time, don't know about you but it doesn't bog me down with grogginess. Once the adrenalin's pumping you're fine!
