Ontario, snow in June article?
Yes, Pickle lake is 3/4's of the way to Manitoba and a lot further north than me. Prince George is further north again.
At a guess, almost a 20-24 hour drive. I'm further south than a dozen states.
Have a peek on a map and see how far south Toronto is from the rest of the country...it's crazy!

Last year and this year is the first time we started seeing frosts in june, the crops are just sitting there shivering. But at least the snow depth declines for sledders are reversing. A link to the highways in our southern interior.

Garden is growing like crazy, had a few radishes and lettuce last night with supper. Everything is poking out and looking for sun.
Strawberry plants have berries and my asparagus is finally producing!
Heat is coming this weekend.

Mine is starting to show some life. Started corn in greenhouse this year, worked great, need to do more next year.

asparagus will come out when there is snow on the ground as well as wild onions. We have also had radish and beets so far.
