fuc7ing neighbours cat **** in my garden this morning hunt is on keep your cats in your house or tie them in your yard

I had the same problem a few years back, found more than potatoes when digging.
Built a cat trap and smoked oyster oil in the tin at the back of the trap.
Cat goes in, bumps the stick, gate goes down.
Cat sits on the back of truck in driveway in trap tailgate down making a lot of noise for everyone to see/hear for a couple hours.
Cats can make a hell of a lot of noise.
Cat makes a trip to were i know the coyotes are thick.
After the third cat all the rest seemed to be kept in their house not shatting and roaming freely about.
Then I cleaned out the flower gardens for the missus.

Gave up counting on how many I’ve caught over the last 15 years but we get new stupid people moving in to the neighbourhood I finally thinned the squirrel population but there easy to catch mole trap and peanuts

The neighbor behind Cat Lady caught 48 of her cats last year, the coyotes that run our roads i am sure are eating them also, who knows what the bear and fox are eating. The moose browse our garden in fall the deer do not seem to eat anything.

We have been busy for 3 weeks working on a back yard makeover. Pool for the kids will go on the pad in the corner. Packed in 5 yards of gravel and top with a yard of sand so far. Suppose to get to 25c here this weekend so I may have to setup and fill before that. Kids are really putting the pressure on now. My grass is finally recovering from the 500 wheel Barrow trips to move the sod out and replaced with rock and mulch. The amount of material I have moved by hand is ridiculous. Starting physio on my hand and right arm next week to fix the damage I have inflicted.on myself. My whole hand and wrist are messed up now. I am happy with the outcome of all the work and lost 14lbs in the process. No gym membership required.

Looks like your having great luck with your garlic! Must be the view it gets to enjoy! What variety? Red Russian?

One thing long time gardeners keep records of, the growing season.. is it shrinking...you bet it is. Alberta, Sask, North Dakota and minnesota found that out last fall when their crops froze in the grounds. You could always count on no frost after may 24th long weekend...not anymore!

Depends where you are most years the growing season is longer here, May long was almost always frosty now it rarely is but then I think it was 93 ( I was very young then so not exactly sure of the year ) we has frost every month of the year, Usually if we get frozen crops it because we are trying crops that need more time and heat units than we usually have

Glad to hear your growing season is getting longer, what crops did you plant? how many acres did you seed and when do you usually harvest?

I had poor germination last year and again this year. Last was probably around 40% and this year is better at about 60%. What did come last year was looking ok until a hail event finished it off. This years crop is looking good (not as good as your mind you). I plan on moving where the patch is located to see if that helps the germination/winter kill issues.

Spare lot survived the freeze, large garden 30% totally wiped out good thing we have seeds because the stores have none, the one behind the park is not known yet, the park guys figure you should not have a key to the gate...haha. I think it will be fine nothings up yet.
