Went for a ride today and I got stuck twice.

<----- Thats my sled, 1.75'' x 136'' summit 670.

Was doing some sidehilling in the ditches, and went up and rode over the edge of a drift on a hill, and dug in too much. Rode in the drift for 10ft and sunk. Stepped off and sunk into chest deep snow. took me 10 mins of digging to get it out and ride out. Ive been riding for 6 years. Am I just an inexperienced rider in deep snow or was that snow conditions?

Even experienced riders get stuck, believe me I know. Mayby just not riding in powder enough or out of practise, you have to be a little more aggresive in the deep stuff.Man I cant wait to go out tomorro and get stuck!

Man, the only way to learn is to get stuck...then you get to learn how to get unstuck.
Big question for me is? How is the Ironhorse trail? We love riding that trail and will be out there next weekend if its not too cold.

cheers

Its good, theres nice powder, I was kicking up dirt on the trail and theres some rutted parts. but for the most part I was on the side of the trail in the deeper stuff.
I hope the groomer will get out there soon.
