So whats everbodys experience with the various spindle kits? They all seem like great options - just availability might be an issue.

We did the BDX version on Niners sled, it works really well. Well worth the money in my opinion. Lifts the front up 1.25". It also shortens the overall length of the spindle for less drag sidehilling, and is 1lb lighter. The kit includes a new upper A arm and mounting hardware. Its a longer install then the iceage elevate, but less money. You then lower you bolts on your skid and the sled sits nice and high. they actaully use my photos for there website. lol.

I have elevate spindles on mine and like them. I got them for a good price but they are pretty spendy otherwise and I would look at a less expensive option to achieve similar results.

The bdx front end works really well. Way less drag on the snow.

I put the ZRP Billet Lift Spindles on my sled, raises the sled 1.25" and to me thats the perfect amount. From what i heard the ice age kit lifts 2" and you put a longer limiter strap on to compensate for the inability to lower the rear skid down the full 2". Buddy of mine had the ice age kit on his sled and he took it off in 5 rides because it made his sled trench so bad, and the ski lift was uncontrollable.

The ZRP only goes down as much as the rear suspension drop brackets allow. And i've ridden my sled in every condition now over the season and i will say it feels more predicable, can hold a steeper edge, my trenching issues seemed to have gone away with the different attack angle due to dropping the skid, and raising the front end of the sled. All in all i don't regret getting the billet spindles at all.

The ZRP are also a good chunk cheaper then the ice age. I don't trust the strength of the highmark spindles i hear they have been bending.

I finally received my TKI kit and will post some picks tomorrow when I finish installing it. The spindle geometry is definitely different and lifts 1.5". I needed to lift the nose since the kmod skid lifted the rear of the sled 3".

Just put the elevate kit on my alpha and rode for the first time with it today, what a difference in the trees and side hills, hardly any plowing anymore, easier to go side to side and less panel out. Is it worth the money?……. Depends I guess if $1400 is something you save for or just have laying around to spend. I like it anyway. Too bad I’ll probably be on a g5 turbo soon
