Alpha is a decent sled but from the time I’ve thrown a leg over both I’d buy the m8000 probably save yourself 3k minimum and I really think it puts the power to the ground better. Engine is same in both so I wouldn’t pay for an alpha as it was just not amazingly better than the 8000.

I haven't tried an Alpha yet. I got to try a 2019 M8000 162 today. I liked it. Took me a bit to adjust to the way it handles vs my HCR.
Also got to try a Gen 4 doo 165. I found that very squirrely.
So if the Alpha is squirrely like that as well, that would push me towards the M8000

Ended up going with the "Grape".
A few things steered me more that direction.
Cost difference.
Electric start - alphas dont come with and cost a lot to add.
And color, I know I could wrap a black sled, but I enjoy loud ugly colors, so this one was a good fit.

Thanks to T&T powersports, this is sled #4 from you guys.
Always a pleasure to deal with.

This one came with
E-start
Magnetic tether
Scratchers.

I've added
Skid plate
Windshield bag
Knee pads

Waiting for
Tunnel bag
Handle bar bag
Speedwrex can
Steel gear
Case of oil
Mountain front bumper

To come in.
Looking forward to getting it all installed and out to play.

Now that all the numbers are out and you can get e-start in the alphas do you regret your decision?

Nice! I like the purple.

My Hard Core came with that windshield bag and I like it. Pretty handy.

Not really. Haven't even tried this one yet. Going to take it to Newbrook tomorrow for their rally, break it in there. Then off to Valemount on Thursday.
With 2019 being the last year for cats twin rail mountain sleds, I'm glad I went with it. Means in 4years time when this is miled out, I'll be on a mono rail and hopefully the new prices are lower then today
